Composite materials offer excellent dielectric properties which, combined with excellent thermal properties, make them a particularly suitable choice for the protection of sensitive devices in high temperature environments.

This range consists of rigid materials, in the form of tubes or boards (thickness 0.1 mm to several centimeters), designed by an assembly of several layers :

  • of insulating resin : phenolic, polyester, epoxy, or silicone ;
  • added reinforcements: paper, glass mat or polyester, glass cloth, mica…

 

This method allows to combine the properties of different electrical insulators to design thick and machinable materials.
