Product description

Kapton® tapes are high-tech products with very impressive physical (mechanical, thermal, electrical) and chemical properties. Kapton® adhesive tapes are coated with a thermosetting acrylic or silicone adhesive which gives the tapes particularly high strength and resistance.

The properties of the Kapton® adhesive tapes and of the polyester adhesive tapes are identical at room temperature. However, variations in temperature have less of an effect on the properties of Kapton® film compared with polyester film. Indeed, polyimide film does not soften at elevated temperatures, thus the film provides an excellent non-stick surface.
