Teflon® adhesive tapes comprise a Teflon® (polytetrafluoropolyethylene) foil backing and a thermosetting silicone adhesive.

PTFE Teflon® offers excellent non-stick performance, high resistance to all chemicals, excellent dielectric properties and resistance to high temperatures.

The composition of Teflon® adhesive tapes makes it well suited to applications such as the electrical insulation of transformers.
